UAE E-Invoicing
Get your business ready for UAE e-Invoicing without rebuilding how you operate.
UAE e-Invoicing is not a different PDF. It is structured invoice data, exchanged through an accredited service provider and reported for tax, for in-scope transactions.
Sahor One creates e-invoices from the jobs and customers you already manage, sends them through an accredited provider and shows you the status of every one.

Why it matters for a service business
Your B2B customers will expect it
Property managers, facilities companies and offices must receive e-invoices too. A supplier who cannot send one becomes harder to pay.
Penalties apply
The penalties framework covers failing to appoint a provider or to issue compliant invoices. Checking your position early is cheaper than fixing it late.
Data quality becomes visible
Missing TRNs, wrong buyer names and loose line items get rejected. The fix starts in the job and customer record, not at month end.
The official timeline
Dates come from Ministry of Finance decisions and are reviewed against official announcements.
| Who | Appoint a provider by | Mandatory from |

| Annual revenue ≥ AED 50 million | 30 October 2026 | 1 January 2027 |
| Annual revenue < AED 50 million | 31 March 2027 | 1 July 2027 |
| In-scope government entities | 31 March 2027 | 1 October 2027 |
Pilot and voluntary adoption opened on 1 July 2026.
The published programme covers in-scope B2B and B2G transactions, with specified exclusions. Household B2C transactions have different treatment. Verify your transaction population against the official decisions and current guidance.

How it works in Sahor One
- 1
Your business is ready
Legal name, TRN and address are checked once during setup.
- 2
Customer data is complete
For B2B and B2G customers, Sahor asks for the details e-invoicing needs, such as their TRN and legal name, before the invoice is due.
- 3
The invoice builds from the job
Line items, quantities, VAT and totals come from the quote and completion record.
- 4
Checked before sending
Sahor validates required fields and flags problems while they are still easy to fix.
- 5
Sent and tracked
The invoice goes through an accredited service provider, and its status returns to Sahor.
When something goes wrong, you see it and fix it in one place.
-
Rejected invoice
The reason is shown on the invoice, with the field to correct and a way to resend.
-
Corrections and credit notes
Issue a credit note or corrected invoice linked to the original, instead of editing history.
-
Provider unavailable
If the exchange is briefly down, invoices queue and send automatically when it returns.
-
Missing buyer details
Sahor flags B2B customers with incomplete data before you invoice them.
Sahor is not the Accredited Service Provider. It is connected to one.
Only providers accredited by the Ministry of Finance can exchange UAE e-invoices. Sahor One is the operating software where your invoices are created and checked, connected to an accredited provider inside the platform. You do not run a separate integration project.

What is an Accredited Service Provider?E-Invoicing questions
What is UAE e-Invoicing?
It is the structured, electronic creation and exchange of invoice data between businesses through Accredited Service Providers, with tax data reported to the Federal Tax Authority. An emailed PDF is not an e-invoice under the new system.
When does my business have to start?
Businesses with annual revenue under AED 50 million must appoint an accredited provider by 31 March 2027 and start on 1 July 2027. Businesses at or above AED 50 million appoint by 30 October 2026 and start on 1 January 2027. Check the official decisions for your exact position.
Does it apply to invoices for households (B2C)?
The current programme covers in-scope B2B and B2G transactions. Invoices to individual household customers are treated differently for now. Many home-services businesses have both, so it helps to know which of your customers are businesses.
Is Sahor One an Accredited Service Provider?
No. Sahor One is the software where invoices are created and checked. The exchange runs through an accredited provider approved by the Ministry of Finance, connected inside Sahor One.
Do I need a separate contract with a provider?
When you activate e-Invoicing in Sahor One, you appoint the accredited provider available through the platform on the terms shown at activation. You do not need to run your own integration project.
What is PINT-AE?
PINT-AE is the UAE specification for e-invoice data, based on the international Peppol standard. It defines which fields an invoice must contain and how they are structured. Sahor produces invoice data in the format the exchange requires.
What information do I need about my B2B customers?
At minimum their legal name, address and TRN where they are VAT-registered, plus the details the exchange uses to route the invoice. Sahor shows which customers are missing information so you can collect it before invoicing.
What happens if an e-invoice is rejected?
The rejection reason appears on the invoice in Sahor. You correct the field, usually a customer or line-item detail, and resend. If a correction needs a credit note, Sahor creates it linked to the original.
Can I still send customers a PDF?
Yes. Customers can still receive a readable invoice and a payment link. For in-scope transactions, the structured e-invoice is the legal record, and the PDF is a convenience copy.
Does e-Invoicing work with payment links?
Yes. The same invoice can carry a payment link, and Sahor shows both its e-invoice status and its payment status, so your team sees what was accepted and what was paid.
What does it cost?
E-invoicing is included in every Sahor plan, including the accredited provider service and the business verification it needs. Eligible pilot customers also get 2 months of Sahor One e-Invoicing fees free from activation.
How long does it take to set up?
If your business details are ready, activation takes minutes. Most of the work is making sure B2B customer records are complete, which Sahor helps you find and fix. Pilot customers get guided onboarding for this step.
Is this tax advice?
No. Sahor One provides software and operational guidance. Confirm how the rules apply to your business with the Federal Tax Authority, the Ministry of Finance and your tax adviser.
